Homemade Granola 


2.5 cups rough oats

1 tbsp maple syrup

3 tbsp coconut oil

2 tbsp chia

1 cup mixed nuts

2 tbsp pepitas

1/2 cup coconut

2 tsp cinnamon

2 tsp turmeric (optional)

1 tsp vanilla

1/4 cup almond butter


  • Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius
  • Melt the coconut oil, maple syrup and almond butter in a bowl and stir together.

  • Place all the other dry ingredients in a separate bowl

  • Combine the wet and dry ingredients until all the mixture is damp
  • Lay on a baking tray lined with baking paper
  • Bake for about 45 minutes  turning every 10 minutes or when the top looks a bit golden give it a toss so the raw bit underneath can also cook
  • Remove from oven and leave to cool for 15 mins and store in the fridge or cupboard
  • I served it on top of my quinoa porridge with my homemade coconut yogurt
