Coconut Spice Yoga is hosting a 7-day, 6-night yoga retreat in Bali in May, allowing you the opportunity to deepen your yoga practice in paradise amongst palm trees.

Give yourself the luxury of escaping the busyness of day to day life and experience the healing energy of Bali and its culture on the untouched north of Bali at Gaia Oasis.

You will feel rejuvenated as you sleep next to the ocean in hand-built bungalows, eat organic nourishing food from Gaia’s garden and truly connect with the beauty of nature.

Take time out to go within and connect to your true purpose and meet other beautiful yogis.
You will learn new meditation and breathing techniques to go deeper within and the Yoga & meditation classes cater to all levels. We will journey through the chakras every day learning more about yourselves as the week progresses.

I will also run workshops/labs and allow time for additional one-on-one time to answer any questions or to help with any current physical, mental and emotional issues that may arise.

There will be downtime to relax and read a book, or have a swim or indulge and book in for a massage.
I will also organise side trips to experience the local culture and dolphin spot in fishermen boats at sunrise, experience spiritual cleansing rituals at a sacred temple or go on a hike. All optional.

How to get there:
Gaia Oasis is located on the secluded north side of Bali. It takes approximately 2.5 hours from the airport. More details will be available in a group forum once you have confirmed your booking.
We will meet for pick up at Seminyak or Ubud on Saturday 9th March at 10.30am/12pm and take cars together to the north of Bali. We will stop for a lunch with beautiful volcanic views on the way for a break.


Wednesday March 6th is Tawur Kesanga, the Dark Moon of the Spring Equinox.

Rituals are performed in order to vanquish the negative elements. Parades are held featuring Ogoh – Ogoh (fantastic monsters and evil spirits or Bhuta Kala made of bamboo and paper mâché).

The street will be busy from 2pm – 10pm, better to arrive in Bali in the morning of March 6th or in the evening when the parade are finish.

Thursday Mar 07th is NYEPI, Balinese silence day. There may be package prices at hotels.

Denpasar airport is also closed on Nyepi from Thursday 7th March at 06.00 am until  Friday 8th March at 06.00am so please ensure you don’t arrive between these times.

Therefore the best time to fly in would be Wednesday 6th March morning or Friday 8th March after 6am! Sorry for the inconvenience.
About Chrissie:

Chrissie has been teaching yoga for 9 years and loves to incorporate pranayama and meditation to deeper the practice. Chrissie teaches Hatha vinyasa flow and yin yoga, using modifications to allow all levels to access the practice.

Chrissie’s style is compassionate and she loves to use the ancient teachings to help students to incorporate yoga into their lives on and off the mat, also blending her naturopath and Ayurvedic wisdom to enhance the practice.
